This place is no longer available at this place. Extremely difficult to book an appointment. Also the staff is not aware about the process much too. I was told that I can not go out of Australia airport with transit visa. But the Australian immigration allowed it.
Came all the way in to be told that I can't get my Biometrics done for Canada here - that I have to go to Auckland. Maybe if you'd answered the phone when I rang (multiple times over the span of a week) I would have known? This entire set-up with multiple countries having offices in the same building but no form of reception is an atrocity.
NOTE: If you can get an Australian eTA, DO IT. You don't need to pay 132 NZD for your fingerprints to get a Transit Visa. I found out after planning a visit here, paying the ridiculous amount to take my fingerprints, and then waiting to get my visa approved. My friends sorted their eTA via the app in one hour! Also the people working there really don't seem to enjoy their job. Sad experience
Booking an appointment is a herculean task. Have been trying to do the same repeatedly for the last 24 hours with no success. They seriously need to clean up their system.
One of the worst service at a very expensive price. I have visited this place to submit biometrics for Australian tranzit visa on 23/03/2023 and below is my experience. 1. When I make the appointment it specifically mentioned that it's free of charge. Then when I went in they charged me $132 just for 5 mins of work. 2. I had to wait close to one hour pass my appointment time and many others were waiting in that sama area with frustration way past their appointment times. 3.After submitting the biometrics they told me I will receive an email, but I haven't received any even after one day. To make matters worst when I try to contact them there is no telephone number for Australian visa requirements at all. I called their number in the website and there are all the countries except for Australia.Then I picked a random country and connected to a operator to ask about this situation but she said she can't help me at all and call the Australian immigration. So when I call the Australian immigration, to no surprise they advised me to contact vfs global for an update. This is not the service to expect from a org like this. I see many negative reviews stating the same complain as me but doesn't seem like they care about the customers at all. Being the only biometrics place in Wellington it seems like they exploit their customers to the full extent while making a boatload of money.

Such a horrible and shameful place. You can’t book an appointment, you can’t call.. they overcharge for this service. Packed of applicants waiting longer than their appointment times. Plus, their biometric machines are old, holding you wait longer.
