Went to this place 2ce last week with 17mth old moko. Clean tidy child friendly place with play equipment that moko enjoyed! Cool bike path area too! Seating all around too x
Whats up with the flooding at this playground?
This park needs some real attention. It has deeply pooled dirty water in both the play areas that have been sitting and growing gunk for a while. Do not recommend until City Council clears the water problem by the play sets.
Lovely setting not too far from the beach. Great wee skate park, playground and picnic area. Recently installed water fountain close by. Dog park section also here. Boggy in winter but a good path around the perimeter. A small stream runs alongside but is not fenced off so supervision is required. Only downside is no toilets nearby.
We love this playground. Suitable for bikes and scooters as there is a cool track as well as playground equipment. Play ball etc on the large field. The only down side is there isn't a toilet on site, a short walk to the beach finds one. Or bush wees for kids.
