The caretaker escape room was really immersive and so much fun, got caught up in one puzzle so we didn’t finish within the hour, however, they were kind to let us continue on past the time since we were so close to finishing. Good service, fun, would highly recommend !
We initially had a really disappointing experience in one of the rooms but Xcape reached out to give us another go. They were very generous and eager to make sure we had an enjoyable experience, which we definitely did the second time round! The Asylum room was super fun and creepy; difficult and a little humbling, but we enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly too!
We played all five rooms in one day and each and every single one was brilliant! Incredible theming, aesthetics, and challenging puzzles. So much fun. Can’t wait to be back when more rooms are built!
Amazing. Totally enjoyable and challenging with the family. Great service by the team. We had younger children and found the Jewel mystery room particularly hard but still so entertaining. Great detail and trick in the room. Highly recommend.
Was an awesome experience for our rangatahi and their team building exercise! We should have maybe started with the beginners one! But was a awesome time! Thanks the amazing host!
Mutiny on the high seas a great success! Was an absolute blast! The structuring of the escape room and the puzzles was superb and was one of the best escape room experiences I've had!
I did the asylum room today and it was awesome. I have done a few of the other escape rooms around Wellington and this was by far the best! Highly recommend choosing Xcape!!
The only bad thing I can say about XCape is that I've done all of their rooms and there are none left for me to do for the first time. Hands down the best escape rooms I've ever done. Top quality design, clever puzzles and variety. Cannot recommend more to seasoned or first time escape room players. If you're looking to visit an escape room, go here!
