The old guy is rude and losing the plot. I'm not buying my lotto tickets here anymore because they make too many mistakes. Yes you can cancel the tickets and try again, but you need to listen to the customer and learn how to use the lotto machine.
Very well stocked store
We moved from Paekakariki in 2008. Called in to the store today and great to see the shop and the family still there with great service and a super wide range of stock.
just finished hiking out on the escarpment track. Went into the shop looking for a bottle of coke before I got lashed out at the front counter. Never ever wrote a review this revolting
This guy over the counter tried to scam me of $20 dollars just for a snickers bar. They had god awful customer service and when i asked for the money back they declined be careful AND DON’T SHOP HERE

Great little shop when at out half way point when biking
I actually didn't' go in. But know about it. Also the Diary. The Town is such a great place. With its own village train station.
This store is great. There is a variety of foods and lots more.The staff are welcoming.
Couldn't live without this place. It always surprises me what I can find here ingredients wise too and the prices are very decent for most things.
