would like to provide feedback on a very disappointing experience I had at your Albany branch in Westfield Mall a couple of months ago. Four of us went in to book a cruise and a week’s stay in Surfers Paradise, and the process was far from smooth or professional. To begin with, the booking appointment took over five hours just to finalise basic details for our cruise and accommodation. We specifically requested window seats on our flights, but were instead placed in middle seats. We also asked for sea-view accommodation close to the main centre of Surfers Paradise, which was initially confirmed. However, a week later we received an email saying it was fully booked and were asked to choose another place. After selecting a new property, it took several emails from us to get confirmation that it had actually been booked. We finally received confirmation directly from the resort only two days before our departure — which was far too last-minute. When we arrived, the accommodation was not sea view as we had requested, and overall it did not meet expectations. The entire experience was stressful, poorly communicated, and left us with little confidence in using Flight Centre again.

The WORST ever experience!!...Booked first time ever through Flight Centre and have promised myself NEVER AGAIN!!... I had booked tickets to Mumbai India for Dec 2024...Booking was done way in advance i.e. July 24 as Dec being peak season. Ticket was booked through Singapore Airlines- Auckland to Singapore and Singapore to Mumbai Arrived at Auckland Airport the night of travel only to be told by Singapore Airline authorities that I had no ticket booked from Singapore to Mumbai and that needed to book a whole new ticket again...Was totally mortified and gutted. Had already paid $3500 for the entire travel. Had to turn around and head back home totally shocked!!...Was on call with Flight Centre call centre agent whole night and at finally they managed to rebook a whole new ticket but had to shell out another $1500 (For no fault of mine)!!. Luckily managed to get one seat despite being a busy period and it was imperative for me to go to India as we had further bookings- domestic travel there. Have travelled a lot but never had such a horrific experience. Ended up paying extra money and lots of mental stress on day of travel for no fault. Will henceforth going forward book directly with the Airlines through their website. Lesson learnt!!

The process of working with flight centre was far more difficult than it should have been. We'd go weeks without contact and only when we mentioned that we would have to complain did we finally get spoken to. That's not the worst part, things were not tied in a bow by the time we travelled to Belgium. When we arrived at our accommodation we were hugely dissapointed to find a key lockbox, to which we had no way of opening. We were left stranded without a way to contact the accommodation, as we were also not given their contact details. Up until this point we believed it was either a normal hotel or motel sort of setup. Our dissapointment quickly turned to terror as we realised that if we didn't find some way to fix this we wouldn't have a place to sleep that night, or somehow sort a place with money we had not put aside. We also only had data sim cards so as a result none of us were able to call flight centre customer service. It was only after hours of back and forth through a friend (who we were exceptionally lucky was awake at the time) back home, that we were able to amend the situation ourselves. Because of this we missed all of the things we wished to see that day, of which we didn't get our money back. This wasn't the only bad part of our experience with you all here (another quite stressful one being that our hotel on arrival in Belgium had seemingly not been paid), but it was definitely the worst. All we learned is that we should definitely have just done the entire trip ourselves as the rooms we booked independently were all far better, far cheaper, and included far less of a run around. Booking a travel agency is something you do to make sure things like this don't happen, it's tragically hilarious that nothing we did ourselves went wrong but so much of what you all sorted did. I can't recommend more that if you have even a moderately adequate level of skill with the internet, just give it a go yourself, it will be far less stressful.

I’m very impressed with the quality of service I have received from Bianca. She was a great listener, thorough, efficient and professional. I’d highly recommend her to anyone and will definitely come back to see her again to book my next holiday.

Jessica was such a great help with our flights and she was a lot of fun too. Thanks Team

There's definitely room for improvement. I could not book my flights due to website issues and phone lines not working. By the time I got through to a person, my flights price had increased by $90 ... please pick up your game Flight Centre. I'm a long-term customer and I don't want to have to take my business elsewhere
