   I had a lovely gel-x manicure here this morning. They were communicative and friendly and I felt welcome. They were very happy to have my 7 month old there with me in her pram, had some little chats with her, and didn’t make us feel like a nuisance at all. My nails look great and were affordably priced, even with some nail art. They did use an electric file on my cuticles/nail bases though, so it remains to be seen if there’s any damage done to the nail there. Hopefully not. Another thing that I really enjoyed was that it was noticeably quieter than most other mall salons you find - it has a door, which closes! As someone a bit sensitive to noise, it felt like a much calmer experience.

   My young daughter had the worst pedicure I have ever seen. She paid $60 for gels that had product bleed and gel that didn’t even cover the nails. In the end she took the product off and did them herself. Spoke to other Four Seasons and Nail Techs and they all agreed this was terrible workmanship.

   I absolutely love getting my nails done here at Four Seasons Porirua. Always a great service and the workers are so lovely and patient. The quality of service is amazing too. I have never had a problem with any set I’ve gotten done. Would highly recommend Four Seasons Porirua If you’re looking for a new nail spot!!

   Gel manicure was average ( have polish on the side of my nails ) but I was blown away by how unprofessional some ladies were there. Not organised, they tried gathering their things to start my manucure for 5 minutes. Kept talking in another language and not really focusing on the manicure itself. Then the oldest lady there started to do her own nails while doing mine… Don’t recommend.

   Have had 3 gel manicures at this salon previously, and my first SNS today, and I have been really happy with the quality of the manicures each time. They shape and paint my nails nice and evenly, and the gel has lasted much longer without lifting than when I have had it done at other salons. Each of the staff who have done my nails have been sweet, chattiness level depends on the vibe of the day but I am quite happy to have some peace anyway.

   4 Seasons in Porirua is my go-to when I have an event or a trip coming up. I always go with the SNS on natural nails as they last much longer than gels! They do a decent job and although the conversation is minimal and the place can get a bit hectic, they’re still good at what they do and don’t break the bank!
