Everything was there, but the kitchen sink was blocked and the scissors were broken. It seemed like they weren't being maintained.
Our initial impression of Chelsea Bay Apartments #304 was positive – a charming space that appeared cleaned and cozy, boasting a stunning view of the Auckland city lights, water, and nearby islands. However, our excitement took a downturn as our stay unfolded with a series of unfortunate events. On our very first night, the adjustable shower head rod unexpectedly detached from the wall during a shower. A call to the property management the next morning brought reassurance that maintenance would promptly address the issue that day. Regrettably, upon our return, someone was present, but it wasn't the maintenance personnel. We were told that someone would stop by the next day but no one did. Adding to our disappointment, we had paid for a cleaning service, but the apartment fell short of cleanliness expectations. The bathroom floor was unnervingly sticky, handprints marked the wall over the toilet (I'll spare you the details), black mold marred the caulking in the window seam, side of counter looked as if grease accumulated and had not been cleaned for sometime and black dirt clung to the crevices of the door frame. Dust settled on top of the refrigerator, washer, and closed shelves, indicating a lack of proper cleaning through out the unit. To compound matters, the absence of air conditioning left us feeling like we were in a sauna during the summer season. However, we were able to cool the room having the front door and sliding door open to let the breeze blow through. Despite the breathtaking view, we value a clean living space over the scenic surroundings. In conclusion, Chelsea Bay Apartments #304 failed to meet our expectations. We offer this review as constructive feedback, emphasizing the importance of a clean and comfortable environment as a fundamental aspect of any accommodation.
Bed sheets are probably not cleaned. Good view from the balcony. Mailbox to collect keys broke, even though we entered the right code sent to us on the email. Furniture is quite cheap. It's a little hot in the summer.
A little cryptic in the express check-in process and finding my way around initially. But overall, very spacious and modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Complete, convenient and well maintained facilities and appliances. TV a little old. Balcony views of CBD extravagant. Apartment complex conveniently a short walk away to shopping center and mini bush tracks.
Well maintained, nice and cosy apartment with security systems. Spacious car park available. A few steps away from shops, cafés and supermarkets.
