Just great, extremely fast. Went there to do some blood tests. Door to door it was less than 15 minutes. Results coming later by email.
RUDE STAFF I went for a blood test this morning and everything was fine until I entered the room. I politely asked the staff member (her name sounded like Mala/Mela/Male), “Could you please use the smaller needle?”—something I always request. Her response was, “Don’t tell me how to do my job, I know what I’m doing.” I don’t understand how a simple, polite request for a smaller needle is considered telling her how to do her job. A simple “yes” or “ok” would have been enough. As patients, we are already anxious about medical tests. Having to deal with unnecessarily rude behaviour only makes the experience more stressful and unpleasant.
Looks like im not the only one who got a bad and terrible experience in this lab. I got the my blood drawn few months back and after that i feel the stingy sensation for more than 3 weeks. Hope the management will notice their incompetence and get them on training or school.
Yesterday morning I went to this lab for blood test for the first time. The overall environment was clean and everything went pretty smoothly. The nurse was nice, but he didn’t seem very skilled. He tried my right arm first but couldn’t get any blood, so he had to switch to my left arm. Both times I felt a pretty strong tingling sensation. Now both of my arms are still sore and a bit red and swollen:-(
Have done many many blood tests over the years at this Lab. Have have had only praise for the polite and efficient staff. The samples were drawn without pain and hardly a trace of blood. Today was just the opposite. Was like the lady was a dart champ. The pain was terrible and was proved by the blood that I wiped away. I don’t want to name her even though I know her name. Hope she can be gentle in future.
Popped in at 2:10pm in a Monday. Done and dusted with my blood samples in 7 minutes. Nurse was very sweet. A++ experience
The 5 stars is given to Staff called Elaine , she was so nice , friendly , professional , kind . We all need more people like her to make this world a better place ! The company should reward staff like her for real !! (Again the 5 stars given to the staff , not to the company , the process of getting the blood result is 0 stars ) .
Usually good but today it was very busy and the people outside have no way of knowing what number is being called there should be a sign or a speaker or something for days like this.
The testing lab is fully equipped biggest of all Labtest I have visited so far in Auckland. The facilities are good and most of the blood, X-ray and other tests are done here. Somw of the tests are free for New Zealand citizen and permanent residency which are sponcered by state.
