    The female staff member in the women’s fitting room was extremely rude. If she was having a bad day, she should have taken a break instead of taking it out on customers. Bringing such a negative attitude to work while getting paid to assist people is really unacceptable and unprofessional.

    Extremely Disappointed – Poor Customer Service at H&M Queensgate. I emailed H&M customer service five days ago and still haven’t had a reply — not even an acknowledgement. I’ve tried to find a customer service number but couldn’t find anything other than the store number, so I’m unfortunately posting here just to get someone’s attention and so the team knows what happened. On Thursday, August 21st around 7:00–7:10 PM, I visited the H&M store at Queensgate Shopping Mall. I went upstairs and approached the first counter on the left. I asked a young woman in a black top if I could pay using Afterpay, and she abruptly said “H&M doesn’t do Afterpay.” I mentioned that I’d used it before, and instead of checking or explaining nicely, her tone became dismissive and she said, “I’m not sure, are you okay with that or…?” — in a way that came across really rude and unprofessional. I work in customer service myself, so I know how important it is to treat people with respect, no matter what. Even if she didn’t know the answer, there’s a way to say it politely. I ended up paying $90 by card — it’s not that I couldn’t afford it, I just like using Afterpay and find it easier. But I walked out feeling upset, not because of the payment option, but because of the way I was spoken to for asking a simple question. When I got home, I even Googled to check if Afterpay was still accepted — that’s how much the interaction stuck with me. I’m happy to provide my receipt if needed to help identify the staff member, but I’m mostly writing this because not every customer will speak up. Some will just walk away and never come back. I’ll be honest — if someone finds it hard to deal with basic customer questions or can’t speak with a kind tone, maybe retail isn’t the right job. Your staff represent your brand, and interactions like this can leave a really negative impression. Still waiting to hear back from H&M about this. Hopefully someone takes it seriously.

    Lots of tantalizing stock for the winter season. Wonderful scarves that were polyester but felt like mohair. Great blue striped soft cotton shirt. Good to see fabric that wasnt recycled.

    Walked past this store, saw clothes in the window I wished to purchase. Walked inside to the correct department but could not find what I was after. I went looking for a staff member, these are harder to find than the clothes! Found one in the very next department. I asked about the clothes, they had no idea. Told me they did not work in that department. I asked for a staff member who did and was told they hadn't started yet, this was at 11am Friday morning. They did not offer to check the computer for stock even, there was no other help offered. It did not concern them I was leaving the store empty handed. 2 things that concern me is 1 How do they think they get paid? 2 How do these places survive?
