Had a wee walk around the store, got pinged by the parking company after the store had closed. Will not be visiting another Placemakers again after getting fleeced $85. My fault, if I see the warning signs next time, I will drive right on by and off to Bunnings or Mitre 10 who don't do these dodgy "Parking Fines" and want to look after their customers.

Just visited this branch and staff were so friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Nathan for being so helpful carrying the timber and loading into the car. Also to Claro for enquiring after us and friendly chat. Great service team!
Popped into the store thinking I knew what to get but Chris took the time to discuss my project and identify a much cheaper and more suitable product for it. If I had gone along with my own plan I would have been short on product and could not have completed it with how much the costs would have blown out of budget. Extremely appreciative of the time and knowledge Chris provided, especially without making me feel bad for my obvious mistake. Excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning for further DIY projects and am happy to recommend others to do so too.

Do not purchase a wardrobe through Placemakers. After a 3 month process we had to be refunded and have our walls replaced due to the quality of product and workmanship from their subcontractor Cowdroy. During this process we had to constantly call and chase about the product and installation issues we were having as neither Cowdroy or Placemakers would take ownership of their mistakes of which we gave them ample opportunities to come back and fix the issues to further damage. Side note: Lamia if consumers purchase products, have a contract and pay Placemakers directly don't tell me it's not Placemakers problem especially straight after Placemakers and Cowdroy fail to show up to our house for a scheduled appointment to look at the damage you had both caused.
Checked on website said store was open at 7 am got there at 7.41 ,yard entrance locked and not a soul around,

Ian did an outstanding job with customer service at the checkout and deserves to be acknowledged as the only person worthy of employment at this branch, well done Ian. The rest of the staff must be confused with the difference of being on holiday or at work because they seemed out to lunch and social life was priority over decent service. The management team must be blind. Not recommended at all.
