Outstanding service! I've been a customer of Keightley Motors for a number of years, mainly routine servicing and maintenance of my Ford Escape. Always this work has been carried out with efficiency, timeliness and mechanical skill. Occasionally a part in modern cars breaks (badly) rendering the car undriveable until a replacement part is sourced and installed. Recently, this happened to me or more accurately my car. The waterpump stripped a bearing and I was miles (kilometres) from home, my car undriveable. With efficiency and exceptional service all the team at Keightley Motors have contributed to getting my car repaired and back on the road. In today's world of modernism it is reassuring that outstanding service and trained mechanical knowledge and skills are still a part of this businesses core. Thank you.

Good experience. Dont usually write reviews but called on monday asking for a service asap due to personal circumstances. They got me in the next day in the morning and out within 1.5 hrs despite not having a time slot. Thanks again, will be coming back.

Great team of mechanics.. always get our Mercedes Sprinter camper serviced here. They are experts and take pride in their work. Highly recommend if you're looking for honest, trustworthy work on your vehicle

I had a minor problem with my car a while back, recently driven from the South Island to Auckland I had a piece of plastic under the front bonnet which I wanted looked at. They were willing to squeeze me in just prior to closing and recommended removing it for the low cost of $20. The owner was a straightforward fellow and easy to deal with. I would recommend having a good idea of what the issue is prior to booking as narrowing down the possible problems will help streamline the experience with any mechanic.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They have had our car for 3 months. We got told it would take 2 weeks. We were originally told that a part of our car needed to replaced. We paid upfront for a new part. We then found out that they never replaced it with a new part and instead have been sending it off to get the broken part repaired. Since then they have lied to our faces and told us several different stories about what is wrong with our car, have refused to refund us and won't give us a courtesy car. We are a one car family, so we have spent thousands on taxi's while we deal with the inadequacies and brazen lies from these people. Do not trust or use them. We want our money and our car back or we will be involving our lawyers and fair go.

I can see they are good people. I have been taking my car there for sometime now. However in the end, they were unable to fix the issues thats been causing and my car ended up really bad. I specifically mentioned there was an alert shown which indicates there is an issue. They said they found the cause and fixed it. However there was still the same alert sign. Believing that it was safe to drive, my wife drove it and it stopped on the motorway, again. I went to speak to them however they checked and said they could not find the issue and I would have to pay if I request further checkup. I paid the money with an expectation they would fix it but they didnt. Their follow up service was poor. Especially when their work put my wife on the line again for stopping on the motorway. Also, they broke my front bonnet trigger but didnt bother fixing it. Sometime later I noticed it and called them. Their response was that it was already broken. I am absolutely sure it wasnt. Only place that have been opening up my front bonnet was at theirs, months and months before till recent. It was an appalling and disappointing work and could have costed my wife’s life. I decided to move on as I appreciate car is a complicated thing. However I have an expectation from professionals and they did not deliver at the level I expected.

Torrential rain and the owner, Malcolm encouraged me to attend regardless once the downpour had abated, and made time for a WOF and a general service update. Malcolm rings and checks in for your feedback if he discovers something that may need attention, and the charges are sensible. I discovered Keightley Motors through a family friend, and I can fully understand why the garage was recommended. The staff are courteous, happy to explain things - with expertise I have come to trust. Pre-Covid, Malcolm's office had a great collection of valves, from everything from a line trimmer, to a boat!
