Gorgeous restaurant! Ambient lighting with high and low seating options. The food was authentic and perfectly cooked, not to mention the wonderful service from all the staff. Would recommend ANY of the margaritas!!! Can’t wait to come back!
Fun evening playing Loteria, great attentive staff and food was out fast. Food was ok, but they have changed the menu. Last time I went I remember being excited about the menu options and it was hard to narrow down what I wanted. This time not much stood out. I got the fried chicken which was ok, and the cauliflower dish which I enjoyed but was a bit too spicy to finish for me. I miss the corn cob, would love to see that back on the menu. Drinks were hit and miss - loved the Frida Colada cocktail, then had a mocktail that didn't really do it for me.
5/5 experience here! The service was exceptional as was the food. One of our favourite meals during our visit to N.Z, very tasty and flavoursome. Would definitely recommend! We ordered the shared set menu, it was incredible.
OMG the "Pasion Ardiente (Burning Passion)" cocktail is the absolute BEST! Can ask for it to be less spicy if you want. Have never had such a delicious cocktail before, apart from my usual Pina Coladas. 1st time here, can't wait to come back. Great staff, atmosphere, and food looked amazing. We just came for drinks this time.
The food was awful, there were only a few people in the restaurant and they sat us all really close together. $12 for a couple of chips and frozen avacado guac really just set the tone of disappointment for the main meal to come Service was great, we were out of there within 30min.
We have looked at going here for a meal for ages and never gotten round to it. Boy have we been missing out. Parking was our biggest problem as George Street is a popular dining destination. As soon as you walk down the street and see the entrance festooned with fairy lights you know you are going to be in for a good time. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. They have a great selection of drinks and why wouldn't you have a margaritas? Table service was excellent and the chicken starter we had was devine followed by incredible mains. My pulled pork queasadilla was delicious - there is an option for chicken or beef too. The only disappointment we had was the desert, are church's meant to be crispy?
Went her for birthday celebration. Turned out to be la lotería night. Had an awesome time. Announcer was spectacular and funny. She kept crowd engaged. Staff was great. Food and drinks were cost efficient and great tasting.
Very nice selection of Mexican food and drinks. We used the Order App that you can download using a QR code on the table and it only took a few minutes to set up and order, we got our meals well before those that ordered through the lovely waitress. We had a large group and there was food assortments for everyone including the children. Alcoholic everages were delicious! Nice atmosphere as well.
Fabulous and attentive staff and even better cocktails. If you prefer not to wait for a staff member to take your order you can order from the app with a QR code on every table. A chill vibe. It's a great place for after work drinks and snacks.
