   Really impressed with Pit Stop Silverdale – honest, fast and friendly Recently failed a WOF because the suspension bushes started to crack and show signs of wear. The mechanic put the car straight on the hoist and took the time to show me the excessive movement and explain why it was unsafe – no hard sell, just clear and honest advice. Really appreciated that. Got a fair quote emailed the same afternoon (Friday). Booked it in for the following Tuesday and they immediately offered me a courtesy vehicle for the day (I didn’t need it this time, but nice to know it’s available). Dropped the car off at 8 am, aiming for midday, but they called at 10 am to say the parts centre had sent the wrong bushes. They quickly sorted it and still had everything finished by 2 pm. Picked it up after work – repairs done properly, fresh WOF on the windscreen, drives like new again and the price was exactly as quoted, no surprises. Saw one very negative review that felt way over the top. My experience was the complete opposite: friendly, transparent and professional from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back and happily recommend Pit Stop Silverdale to anyone. Thanks, team!

   I just want to give a massive shout out to the team at Pitstop in Silverdale — what an incredible experience! As an agent, I deal with all sorts of customers and businesses every day, and I can honestly say the crew at Pitstop are second to none. From the moment I walked in (well, actually before that — they picked up my car!), I was met with nothing but friendly smiles and genuine care. The lovely lady at the front desk deserves special mention — so welcoming, helpful, and just a joy to deal with. They didn’t just service my car; they gave it the attention it truly needed. They found a few extra issues, gave me a quick call to talk it through (no pressure at all), and got everything sorted — and somehow had it all done within the day! That level of efficiency and transparency is rare. Honestly, I won’t take my car anywhere else now. I left Pitstop feeling confident, happy, and incredibly well looked after. Brilliant team, brilliant service — 100% recommend!

   Avoid this place like the plague. Bad Experience from start to unfinished. Lady with no smile & about as much personality as week old road kill didn't even bother to send me the quote requested after unreasonable amount of dubious wof failures that mysteriously didn't exist and were no signs of at previous warrant. Second Opinion from reputable local mechanic suggested foul play & flew through warrant elsewhere after very minor rectifications, probably faking plenty of their own reviews by the look of it. Either that or they randomly target those they see as vulnerable, have since heard from others with similar stories on large local group pages, so at least it is out in the open now.

   Fantastic experience with Pit Stop Silverdale. Our brake pad indicator lighter was on so we asked them to change our brake pads. They discovered that it was actually a wiring problem so that’s what we ended up paying for, saving us a bunch of money. Really appreciated the honest, fair dealing, and the cheerful helpful service! Would go here again in a heartbeat.

   I like to thank all the team at Silverdale Pitstop. My car was out of a WOF and there fitted me in the next morning, they also carried out a small repair to get though the wof.    Really impressed. The team were able to slot me in really fast on late notice. Repairs were done quickly and at a lower cost than I was quoted from another mechanic. Friendly customer service and good communication throughout. Will be coming back for any future servicing and repairs.

   Awesome people and amazing service. A very well run business that has the capacity to help people in urgent need. I.e. they are agile and can pivot. The polar opposite to the regimented and uncaring dealerships. Michelle and Gary go the extra mile and their communication is clear, timely and efficient. Prices are competitive and mechanical advise is sound. We are very grateful to have such a good local mechanic.

   Outstanding service as always. Our 'learners' car was presenting with starting issues. We needed it to be reliable as teenager had restricted license test in a few days. They really went out of their way and fitted us in in their extremely busy work day to fix the issue. Couldn't be happier.
