communication is not the best honestly never notified me that the part I had already ordered wasn't available at the time showed it was on website , only for me to ring when a month passed and they told me it would arrive a month later still nothing only for me to contact them again after they still didn't contact me to tell me something gone wrong with the supplier to then tell me it would come at the end of June, I placed my order in January , still a good shop just make sure you call them cause they won't contact you or email you an update
Reputable, Honest, and Passionate – Highly Recommend I’ve seen some negative reviews about SpeedScience, but my experience has been the complete opposite. From day one, everything I’ve ordered has been smooth and hassle-free. When a PLM Superlow Seat Rail Kit arrived with a bent bracket, they sorted it out right away. Later on, I had an issue with 2 front brake rotors (after holding onto them for a while during a full brake rebuild and upgrade + master cyl upgrade). I asked to return them, and they accepted and refunded me—no drama at all Since then, I’ve spent a lot with them across 2024 and 2025, and they’ve consistently been professional and transparent. One part was air-freighted, and when I asked for an update, they told me exactly where it was in the process. Their communication is excellent—via email, their website, and even over the phone. If you're unsure about something, their technical knowledge and support are top-tier. Theyre clearly passionate about cars, and it shows not just in their service but also in the welcoming and friendly events they host for the community. They’re a reputable company I fully trust, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in NZ that needs parts.
AVOID THIS COMPANY! I placed an order two years ago and it was never delivered. After numerous attempts to contact them by phone, I recently emailed requesting a refund. They claimed the order was picked up in-store on the same day it was placed, despite my having paid for shipping. I have emails confirming they were preparing the order for shipment. They refuse to refund my money and cannot provide proof of in-store pickup. Their claim that they handed my order to someone without any confirmation is highly suspicious. Save yourself time and money – DO NOT SHOP HERE.
Don’t purchase from this place. Bought an item well over a month ago, meant to have already arrived. Still nothing. No tracking. Contacted them as it’s the last part I need to get my car going, and they say it’s going to be MONTHS not weeks like the website said. They agreed to a full refund well over 4 weeks ago now and still nothing. I have called multiple times. Each time being promised another day which it will happen and nothing. Absolutely ridiculous. Will be contacting the appropriate people to have this company looked into as it seems we aren’t the only ones to have this happen to us.
All ur specialty car items ....Cobb...Grimmspeed... all the cool engine dress up right thru to major upgrade parts ...personally...I shop Subaru STI parts...Honda....Toyota...all the jdm cars represented...great selection...and offer buy Now Pay later options to make it easier on ur wallet . Top class store and business

Firstly , my purchase wasn't exactly cheap (upwards of $1000.00) and more importantly it was a "special order" meaning it wasn't in stock and once an order is placed it is then ordered from overseas (USA) then shipped to Speed Science then forwarded to the buyer. So I payed and placed my order and received via email a "thanks for your order" and a video to watch, 2 weeks later I contacted Speed Science for some info as I hadn't heard anything since placing the order, I was informed my order was "on consolidated air freight" and should be with speed science in the next week, and no info for over 3 weeks until I contacted speed science - again, I was then informed that it hadn't even been shipped at all with no explanation why I was told previously it was almost in NZ. When I informed them I would be engaging the services of my solicitor, the very next day I get an email to say it's been shipped. I asked for a tracking number but there is absolutely no way of referring the number to my order and it can only be tracked the within USA and you can't even see if the final destination is NZ. Once it leaves USA Speed Science said even they can't track the package (very unusual). 8 weeks after placing the order I get hometo find a damaged box at my front door - supposed to be a "signature required" delivery by NZ Couriers. Extremely poor packaging from AWE Tuning resulting in damage to the air filter. I do not recommend Speed Science for any "special order" purchases, (maybe a great business to deal with if the product is in stock) nor do I recommend AWE Tuning via there warehouse as there packaging is very poor resulting in damage, nor do I recommend NZ Couriers as they leave packages in full view without receiving a signature.
Most recommended go to place for your car parts.. fast and easy provided me with exceptional service, excellent rates and fast shipping.. ordered torque solution mount for my evo x they look amazing.. thanks speed science :)
