Worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. Order status was wrong, my online enquiry was ignored, I had to track down the owner directly, no tracking number was given, and the product arrived badly wrapped in black plastic. Communication was poor and only happened when I pushed for it. For a small electrical item this was completely unacceptable — I buy online often and this was the lowest standard of service I’ve encountered.
Friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable staff. Always prepared to negotiate a deal and match prices of their competitors. We worked with James who was so helpful and went out of his way to find out what was going to work for us. A really great NZ owned company that has just celebrated 80 years.
Top friendly service...delivered our new stove...unpacked it and took away the packaging and also took away our dead stove no charge....thankyou Ross and Kelly.
This is an excellent appliance store, Mike the manager takes good care of his customers. Even though I was disappointed with my choice of washing machine Samsung frontloader 8kg- I cannot fault the store, except had they known a little more about the machine they were selling.

Fantastic customer service received from Kelly. I didn't go to the store, everything done through phone call. She helped me find correct accessories from manufacturer for a vented dryer, order them, arrange billing and delivery installation. That's absolutely excessed my expectation. Magness Benrow has their very own staff to do delivery installation, they don't use third party contractor. BIG THANKS to Magness Benrow constellation drive.
It's been over a month since I placed an order. Delivery was painfully slow and tracking info was only supplied after I asked for it. Then the item arrived in the wrong colour. It took days to get a new product on the way and only because I wrote emails and phoned them. Now over two weeks later, tracking still doesn't place the item anywhere near my location. This was supposed to be a Christmas present and while they had the opportunity to put this right after the first blunder, they chose not to do anything different. I'm fed up and would never ever order from this company again. Stay clear of them if you don't want the same hassle. Thankfully, there are plenty of good companies around who know the value of customer service and deserve our business.
I'm not normally one to right reviews but these guys deserve it. After driving over half of Auckland looking to buy a fridge, these guys, in particular Andrew, were absolutely amazing. I was not dressed up and had been ignored by all the retailers and sales people at other businesses I had visited prior to Magness Benrow but these guys gave me amazing customer service and I was not judged by my appearance. Andrew was very knowledgeable, I told him what I was needing and asked for his opinion and he suggested many points across the fridges I was looking at that I hadn't even thought of. Andrew made the entire process stress free and enjoyable. I purchased the Fridge on Saturday and it was delivered to my house Tuesday. No delays, very efficient. The delivery guys were great! They were very careful and even moved my old fridge into the garage for me. A+++++ will be coming here for any new appliances in the future.
