    Criminals! Made an order on 26 February and not seen it nor had any communication since paying. They have no contact numbers now so have emailed multiple times chasing my order- they never reply! I believe the new Munns is a scam! *update they did deliver months later. No communication, when they did eventually touch base with a causal “oopps we missed your order” I asked for a tracking number, no reply! Did receive item. However would never deal with or recommend as extremely average!

    Deceptive online practices and zero accountability. I acknowledge that this review is listed under the physical Munns store, and I want to be fair in saying that my experience is strictly with their online storefront and e-commerce team. But the handling of my order was so poor and misleading that it absolutely deserves to be seen here too. I ordered pocket squares online and paid for shipping at checkout. Nowhere on their website did it state that shipping to Canada would require an additional charge, and the order went through without any issues or warnings. I only found out there was a problem because I had to reach out myself. They then told me I needed to pay an additional $49 for international shipping — a fee that was never disclosed before checkout. Had I not followed up, I never would have known. They made no effort to contact me first. I replied to their message asking for clarification, but they’ve since ignored every single email. As of today, I’ve received no product, no tracking number, and no confirmation of shipment. I’ve now reported the store to Shopify for deceptive business practices and will be initiating a chargeback through my bank. This is not how a reputable business should handle customers. Hidden fees, silence after payment, and no resolution. I strongly advise others to avoid their online store until they take real steps to fix how they operate. I never refused to pay a shipping fee I simply expected the full cost to be made clear before checkout. At no point during the online purchase was I told that shipping to Canada would require an additional $49. I paid the listed fee at checkout, and only found out about the extra charge after I followed up myself. No one contacted me first. I reached out four times with reasonable questions. While you did respond on a few occasions, the replies were often vague or open-ended, and I had to push repeatedly to get any clear answers. There were no proactive updates, no tracking number, and no confirmation that anything had shipped. That’s what ultimately led me to escalate the issue and even then, I remained respectful throughout. My review wasn’t a threat. It was an honest account of how this was handled. Saying I tried to “force compliance” or demanded you “obey my requests” is simply untrue and frankly a bizarre way to describe a paying customer who just wanted clarity and fairness. You only issued the refund after my emails and my review not before. That’s the truth. Instead of doubling down and misrepresenting the facts, I’d suggest focusing on fixing the gaps in your online ordering process and communication. — Max

    Thank you sooooooo much to Jess and the wonderful team at Munns Auckland store who couldn't have been more helpful this past week as we searched for a suit for my son's first school ball. He has walked away with a beautiful suit and it was a very enjoyable shopping experience. We have missed having a local Munns store since the one in Hamilton closed a few years ago, but now that we've found how easy it is to get the same quality and service at the Auckland store, we'll head up there for our menswear shopping in future. Thank you again for such friendly and personalised service, you guys are the best!
