   Great range and fantastic off-the-rack quality. I’d recommend purchasing suits off the rack here, but getting any tailoring done elsewhere. Unfortunately, the store lost our tailored suit. They later replaced it with a new one off the rack, and offered to re-tailor it. We declined, especially after seeing a similar review about a lost shirt and hearing about a friend’s experience where groomsmen’s pants were tailored incorrectly for a wedding. We had some mixed experiences with the service. One sales assistant, Caitlin, encouraged us to buy two suits for a single-day event, which felt pushy. While she pinned the garment & had her hands inside the jacket, she made a comment about my partner’s “sexy body” that felt unprofessional, and she later mischarged us, requiring us to return to the store pay more. There were also issues with the tailoring paperwork, which led to the store losing both the jacket and the record of the alterations. On a positive note, Josh and Keegan were really helpful in resolving the situation and managed to track everything down after a rigmarole of a search. Thanks to them for stepping in and sorting it out. I’d shop here again for their off-the-rack suits, but based on our experience, I wouldn’t trust their tailoring service.

   Visited the Albany, Auckland store on 6 Jan 24 and served by Josh. We were looking for a wedding outfit for my partner (groom). We were blown away by Josh's service, knowledge and ideas. He listened to our likes and dislikes, made great suggestions and we came away extremely happy with our purchases. Josh even gave suggestions about the alterations we required. So refreshing to have a store assistant who was knowledgeable about the products and offered a truly professional service. Wish I could tell his manager how happy we were.

   Keagan was very helpful and had the best customer service I have seen in NZ this year. He was polite and helpful and very quick. He was the only staff member in the store but managed to help several customers at the same time. Great customer service.

   This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a retail company. After over a month of chasing Tarocash staff for a shirt I had ordered that should have arrived within 5 days, and dropping into store 5 times to get any update, they couldn’t deliver. Despite their repeated promises to do so over that period, not one staff member phoned me with an update, now the whole debacle ended with them giving my money back. Communication seems like such a simple thing, but they missed the mark repeatedly. Had I not gone into store yet again, the “note” to refund me would likely have sat in their order book indefinitely. The store manager at Albany and his team need some real customer service training. His apology felt hollow considering the number of times his staff had dropped the ball. Also calling me “My Man” throughout the final conversation didn’t help your apology. Buddy I stopped being “Your Man” the first two times I dropped into the store trying to get any sort of update on my order. Be better, and learn to read the tone of the room. A huge disappointment.
